[SOLVED] Help with buying a new Motherboard and CPU

So I bought this computer 4 years ago.

Two years after I bought a gtx 1070 and replaced it with what was inside that computer. This pc is doing good and my expectations are low. I have some extra money so I decided to buy a new processor.
I was thinking I can buy ryzen 7 2700x for $169. I don't know exactly what processor to buy. I was thinking I can get ASRock B450M PRO4 for $75. This is the cpu I'm talking about.

So Am I making a mistake? are there any better things I can buy for the same price.
I am a noob when it comes to these stuff so feel free to criticize or educate me.

Try putting one ram in the slot closest to cpu and then next one a slot over so slots 1 and 3

That is exactly how they are at the moment. From left to right number 1 and 3. In bios it only recognize number 3

Link to all the stuff are up there. I bought them and now trying to make them work. Cpu and its fan work but as for the rams only one of them does.

i wud suggest i5 9400f if u r on a tight budget... or else 3600x....

I bought ryzen 2700x and its doing fine. The cpu fan is working fine aswell. At the moment the rams are the only issue.
