help with cases (Inwin GRone White ATX, Cooler Master CM Storm Trooper, Cooler Master Storm Stryker)

im looking for what people think of these cases. im looking into parts for a new build, and i cant decide on the case. there is no concern about the black or white part, any one of these seem to fit my desires, i just want to know what to community thinks of one vs the others.

Coolermaster is the better name and those cases also have carrying handles which come in really handy.

true on both counts. so if you had to choose, what case style would you go with the clear, or the solid side. (granted, im a bit partial to the clear side from a "look, and behold the geekyness"

If you have a nice looking system show it off, if you were on a budget and it doesn't look the greatest the maybe not. Also, the one with the solid side looks like has an extra side intake which helps keep your video card cool so it may run a couple degrees cooler in that case.

im pretty sure i will, because the computer i plan on building is going to be about a size and a half bigger than what i have now, and the case is packed as it is, plus i need this case to be able to handle of pretty heavy future expansion.

probably will be worth it if you're going to have a lot of storage and extra cards for your video work. Just make sure you're away of the diminished returns of 3 way SLI before you commit yourself to it.

ya i am aware of the diminishing returns with SLI, even with 3 way im only getting what a card and a half worth of extra performance, if that.

I'd say it's closer to the performance of a single card doubled. 2 way SLI can get pretty high returns, but conservatively probably around 75-80% on main stream games that are optimized well. Only do this if 2 of the highest end cards don't satisfy your needs. I only recommend SLI when a one card solution doesn't have the power.

rite, i would likely only get to the 2 way SLI stage after the system has bee fully running for several months/ a year or 2, and likely be a bit longer after that before i get to the 3 way SLI stage.

smarter thing to do would be sell those 2 cards and upgrade to the current gen of card. That's what I always do with my single cards instead of just SLI'in them and when you do the math it's usually the cheaper and better option.

rite now i have a GTX 770 SC 2GB, the plan was to run that in SLI for a good while, though when the time comes, if i can (and they'll likely be cheaper), just upgrade to the 4GB version, which should last the life of the machine. P.S. when you have to sell your old card, do you just put an ad on, say craigslist or some thing, what do you generally do?

I've been able to use amazon for mine so far, but if that wasn't an option i would try craigs, put an add on here or ebay. Also, you know you have to get 2 4gb cards to have 4gb of VRAM in SLI.

i do in need know about about the gigs of the cards not adding up, but again thats where the waiting comes in. the 2GB was really an upgrade for the current system to take it into the future (plus all i could really afford), then used till i can get some 4GB cards to put into the future system.
