Help with choosing а CPU (High-End)

I need to upgrade my PC, now I have FX 8350 @4.8GHz. I want to buy new CPU, budget is 350e for CPU.

I use PC for Rendering, Programming, Photoshop and sometimes games.

Thinking about 5820k with Bradwell-E MB.


What do you recommend? (wait for zen??)

I'd look more into an I7-6800K, the new 5820K. That or the 6900K would benefit you quite a bit.

I have serious doubts Zen will be competitive with even Skylake, so think you are on track with X99, the newer CPUs would be preferable, but the 5820K should more than suffice for your needs
