So I have decided to upgrade my cheap monitor to something better, currently I own GTX 780, but soon will be swapping it for 1070/1080.

I decided to discard g-sync, since I don't really play fps games and most of new AAA titles will sooner or later stop at 60fps. I don't have any established budget, but as you can guess I don't really plan to spend that much otherwise I would just go for PG279Q.

Could you guys help me choose, I know there are some good DELL monitors, but with 6 ms GTG response, is there something better, what you suggest?

Sorry I somehow missed the notification on your response. Anyway, I know you mentioned a low MS response, but IPS are going to have a higher MS rating than the less expensive TN panels. It's just the way the panel technology works. I would still recommend a Dell at 6ms. I play fast shooters and notice no mouse input lag on mine. Here's the newer variant of mine, and it's actually $100 less than what I paid for mine: https://www.amazon.com/Dell-UltraSharp-U2717D-27-inch-InfinityEdge/dp/B01D402Z28/ref=as_li_ss_tl?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1463250321&sr=1-1&keywords=u2717d&linkCode=ll1&tag=postmonitors-20&linkId=2518384d06901e1365b0c2bb84133280

Another good option is this one from Samsung (has 5ms)...
Dell 1440p owner here (with a 5ms response). What is your budget is the first question that needs to be answered. And yes, you will definitely need to upgrade that 780 to run games at 60FPS on a 60Hz monitor. I have SLI 970s and games like Witcher 3 and Far Cry 4 average mid-70s. With a single 970 they were in the low 40s.

I would not recommend one from ASUS (too many reports of backlight bleed, and I returned mine for that). LG makes an excellent 27" but it's out of your price range.
