Budget Range: up to 150 £, cheaper the better
Monitor Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming, watching movies, surfing the Internet
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Amazon.co.uk
Country: EU
Brand Preferences: I'd prefer a brand with a reputation, like Samsung or Acer
Physical Size (Diagonal): 24 inch
Resolution(s) You'll Consider: 1600x1200+, preferably 1920x1080
Inputs Needed: Indifferent, I have adapters for everything.
Panel Type(s) Desired: (e.g.: TN, PVA, IPS) TN or IPS
LED Backlight: Not sure about importance in gaming monitors
Speakers: Indifferent
Wall-Mount: Indifferent

Additional Comments: My graphic card is Ati Radeon HD 6850, and I'm mostly buying new monitor for playing Guild Wars 2.

I couldn't find any direct comparison between those two, but i read Samsung usually has more lively colours. As for other features, like brightness, pixel pitch, LED backlight etc. I have no idea how important they are for gaming or are they at all.
