I had decided on an Antec Earthwatts 550W PSU thanks to its tier two ranking on the PSU tier list. But just then, I noticed that on the tier list the Antec Earthwatts Power supplies are 80+ bronze, whereas the EA550G that I was going to buy is 80+ gold. I can't seem to find a gold version of the Earthwatts on the PSU tier list, so can someone tell me what the go is with the gold one? Is it just a newer, better version of the 80+ bronze Earthwatts? Or is it made by a different producer? If so, is the producer worse/better than the producer of the 80+ bronze one? Also, can someone point out the differences in quality and features between the power supply I just talked about, and two others?

these 3 power supplies I wouldnt recommend. I would recommend a EVGA 550W GS power supply. It has 80+ Gold efficiency and its fully modular. It also is tier 2 on the toms hardware psu tier list. It runs really well and its around the same price range of the PSU'S you've got here. If you want more watts you can get the 650W gs if you want more Watts. Here is the links:
550W: http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=220-GS-0550-V1

Go for the semi or fully modular one, if you need 620w go for that, if not just stick with the 550w semi modular
