Help with color managment for Sony DPP-SV55

Hi:

My Sony DPP-SV55 color printer was working fine.
All of a sudden, the color balance is way off.
If I reprint the exact same picture, it can be wildly different.

I'm running W-XP Home edition.

I'm not certain what changed as I hadn't printed a picture for a while.
I loaded Service Pack 2 recently. I also "cleaned up" the registry
rather agressively.

I've re-downloaded and reinstalled the driver.
The printer works fine printing from a memory stick.
It also prints a test page with the little 4 color windows logo on it fine.

Of my last 25 attempts, 2 pictures printed perfectly. I have no idea why.

Suggestions welcome.

Well, similar thing happened to me this very morning, first printed
fine, 2 & 3 like you say all wrong. Pushed for time to sort it.
