Help with computer upgrading/switching parts.

Hey, im looking to upgrade/switch my PC parts, as i have an old and not the best CPU. Can anyone recommend me the components that i should upgrade/switch out? Someone told me that i should get i5. Could anyone please help? Current specs:

GPU: GTX 1050 TI
CPU: AMD FX 6300
Motherboard: Gigabyte ga-78lmt-s2
RAM: 8GB

Actually the main detail you're missing is the budget for the upgrade.
