Sure it'll work great. Considering how much you are spending. You may want to consider an i7-8700K to maximize lifespan. It is faster and can overclock. Also, right now GPU prices are insanely high due to cryptomining. If you can wait it out. I would do so.

I just checked. Due to extreme GPU prices. Assuming you can even find a GTX 1080. One of those cards will likely run you $1,200 if not more. You can get the system custom built with the same parts or similar replacements for less money. This isn't a prebuilt with cheap parts. But a build where you specify all the parts. So, the question of quality comes down to the parts you select.

Here is the closest I could come to your build. The GPU and Motherboard are from MSI but...

Here is the closest I could come to your build. The GPU and Motherboard are from MSI but similar in quality to the ones you wanted. The PSU was replaced with another Tier 1 PSU. The CPU was upgraded to an i7-8700k, cooling to 240mm Corsair Hydro H100i and case to a Corsair 750D. The price of $2250 is about $100 less than your build. When you factor in the cost of an in stock GTX 1080. That is if you settled for a blower style fan. A multi-fan card would probably run another $200.

I changed the case to the 750d to accommodate a liquid cooler. I listed liquid cooling as they don't have any big air options as good as a Noctua NH-D15.
