I recently bought four corsair af120 quiet edition fans. My problem is that I can't control their speed and I want my rig to be silent. So, I was looking around for a fan controller and see that a fan controller, possibly, won't help at all, because the fans are only meant to run at 1500 RPM. I am wondering if there is any fan controller that would be sure to work, or if none will work at all.
They are also 3-pin fans.
Full name "Corsair Air Series AF120 CO-9050015-RLED 120mm Red LED Quiet Edition High Airflow Fan" They are not the rubberized screw holes.

I have no idea to be honest, although the one I linked will work, I'm running an AF120 in channel 2, 2 AF140s in 3 & 4 and an SP120 for the HDD bays at the front in channel 5, all of which are 3 pins and completely controlled the...
channel 1 is a 4 pin and 2-5 are 3 pin, also comes with a couple spares incase you have an issue with a connector and 5 temp sensors, just note that you need all 5 wires and 5 sensors plugged in otherwise it just beeps constantly, so there are a few wires to mess with if you want a very neat setup, ive used 2-5 for my fans and no issues bar 1 broken connector which took 30 seconds to replace with a provided spare.

I don' think that would work too well for me then. Do you think a GRID+ might work?

I have no idea to be honest, although the one I linked will work, I'm running an AF120 in channel 2, 2 AF140s in 3 & 4 and an SP120 for the HDD bays at the front in channel 5, all of which are 3 pins and completely controlled the 120s go from 1500 rpm to 900 rpm and the 140s do 1200 rpm to 600 rpm, all of mine are the blue LED version and like I said before dim a little on low speeds because there is less power going to them, once they are turned back up the LED's brighten again. channel 1 on mine isn't in use at the moment as I dont have a fan for it yet, so i have the connector tied to the back of the controller for now.

Hope that helps a little more
