Hi there,
Basically, I’ve sold the Corsair HX1050 PSU from my old system on eBay, and I listed it as being 80+ Gold standard. Buyer is now thinking it might only be Silver. I’ve looked all over the Internet and I’m confused as hell because half the sources I looked at list it as gold and the other half silver. Even Corsairs own website contradicts itself by saying it’s Silver at the start, but the rest of the page describes it as being gold standard?:
https://www.corsair.com/uk/en/Categories/Products/Power-Supply-Units/Professional-Series™-HX1050-—-80-PLUS®-Silver-Certified-Modular-Power-Supply/p/CMPSU-1050HX-NA
Going by the specific model number (75-001220) this site:
https://plugloadsolutions.com/80PlusPowerSuppliesDetail.aspx?id=25&
Clearly sais it’s gold standard? Any help figuring this out would be great as I don’t have the original packaging or manual. I’m in the Uk if that makes any difference. Thanks for reading.
