So my computer crashed while gaming a few times last night, but then turned back on each time. Then one time it didn't turn on. I check inside the case and the cpu fan wasn't turning. I looked up the problem online and it said try a different fan header so i got some jumper cables and plugged my fan into the cha_fan instead. The computer turned on and the error was a Bug Code 116 which is a video error. I downloaded new video drivers and the computer still crashed while gaming. Well now the fan isn't turning again and I've tried plugging it into the old header but still nothing. I'm scared I caused damage to the motherboard somehow. If anybody can help me with this problem, it would really save me.

I think this is a case of your CPU overheating because your fan is broken, which would cause your system to shutdown before any permanent damage happens.

Basically if your PC still turns on, but your CPU fan doesn't it's the cooler, get a new one and you should be good.
