Help with CPU

Hi guys, I'm looking for some help.
I'm buying a new liquid cooling system for my PC. I know that before you put the new one on you wipe off the old thermal paste of CPU, if my liquid cooling system already has thermal paste on it, do i need to re-add it to the CPU.
Please help.

If paste is already on the cooler, then you don't need to add any on the CPU. Don't forget to remove the protective film before mounting it.
