My laptop stopped working 6 months ago and the warranty had already vanished. A technician told me the problem was the motherboard so I took the HDD out and now I'm using it as a secondary drive(he didn't charge anything). Since I saw no use in the laptop I opened it to see what part I could use to make anything. I found the wireless adapter, the RAM, the dvd drive for a future laptop and finally the screen. After doing some research all over the internet I found that it's possible to use it dor my desktop with a LCD controller board. I found the controller board at ebay

But I need a source of power for the board and I don't wanna use the laptop battery charger all the time. (I will if there's no option)
Where can I find a cable that is in one side 12v 4A (hp laptop type) and on the other side anything that could work with my Corsair CX600? 6-pin PCI or one the ones used for the fans?
Additional details:
Lapto was a HP G42
Screen resolution 1366 x 768
Also if you know an easier way to do this I accept any suggestion
