I've got an AMD A8-5550G with an integrated HD 8550g, and a dedicated HD 8670M. I used DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to uninstall the original graphics drivers (the res was the same during safe mode boot, I think) and I also deleted the AMD folders. Once it was finished, I installed the Catalyst 14.4 drivers. The 8550G seemed fine afterwards but the 8670M shows as 8600M series with incomplete details. Is this a problem, and if so how do I fix it?

I have it on when I'm not gaming. The GPU-Z report of the 8670M was done when Dual Graphics mode was enabled. Isn't it supposed to show the bus interface, transistors, pixel fill rate, texture fill rate and such? The device manager also shows it as 8600M series, not an 8670M.

I am having the exact same issue. Performance has drop since updating to the catalyst 14.4 driver. Some help would be greatly appreciated. I'm running an Asus R510dp-fh11 AMD A10-5750m radeon HD 8670m 2gb version

I have recently refreshed my pc to windows 8, installed the catalyst 13.1. With this I do not have to enable crossfire or configure the switchable graphics. I am experiencing quite a boost in gamin performance. Titanfall averages about 44 fps in 1600x900 @ low settings with textures set to high. I guess I will just wait on mantle!!!
