Help with duron 600 Please!

I am new to this so forgive me. I am going to use a pencil to rubb out the L1's but dont know witch ones to rubb out. After that what do i do next put the cpu back, then? what settings?

i used a sharp #2 pencil on mine and it worked fine but i varies as some boards are pickier than others. also i highly recomend a magnifying glass so you can watch as you mark.
