Help with dvd setup

I am purchasing a toshiba cd-r/dvd combo drive ,sb live5.1 xgamer, Asus geforce 2 GTS, and i already own desktop theater 5.1 speaker system.. my question is how do i hook it all up? I mean i have spdif on the speaker system ...how does it all work? the manual sucks since it is using a creative decoder card as a reference but i dont need it right?

Yes the desktop theater 5.1 has the decoder/amp built in

You don't need the DVD decoder card. The Geforce2 chip does hardware "assisted" DVD decoding and I assume you have TV out with the video card. You just need a good software DVD decoder.

Connect the DVD drive 4-pin audio to the "CD in" or "Aux in" on the SB card. Just make sure you enable the Aux in the Mixer if you use it.
