[SOLVED] Help With External Drive Storage For Photos

My photo images are stored on a WD Red 4TB NAS drive. I had them in an external Rosewill fan cooled enclosed but recently purchased a Sabrent USB 3.0 enclosure to put one in. One of the problems I had was when looking at images in Lighroom there was a little delay in images appearing when scrolling down to view images. I recently bought a new computer (other was over 10 years old) and thought the Sabrent might speed things up a little but found the computer won't see this drive and being told by Sabrent that this particular enclosure won't work with a NAS drive. Any suggestions on an enclosure that would support this drive or options to store images another way would be greatly appreciated.

Honestly seems like a good reason for an actual NAS with redundancy. Synology and QNAP make a couple of options that are "affordable", or your old PC could readily be used according to case design...
