Sup All,

I bought a CORSAIR Hydro Series H55 Quiet Edition Water / Liquid CPU Cooler 120mm awhile back. I tried to install the fan with it exhausting heat out the back of the case but it didn't fit. My case is Thermaltake v4 The exhaust part is about an inch taller than the case, is there a way to get that to fit into that case? Pcpartpicker lists the case as compatible so it should be able to fit in it. Would I have to exhaust out the top? Or am I just going to have to buy a new case?

Thanks

Hello... Ya I want to go to water cooling... but they do take up more mounting space than ya think they do... sometimes it is best to just sleep on things like this first, till ya get the BUG to make it work... I've seen them mounted that way, like I said the water needs to be higher than the pump, so the air rises and never gets feed to the Pump... This will cause cavitation and micro air bubbles into the fluid.
Basically these days, more people are removing their CD/DVD's from their computer and using a portable USB converter with them, it Does Gives ya more space in the case and top.

I gave up and reinstalled my old fan when I couldn't get it to fit in the back. Is it a good idea to exhaust through the top? I might have to move my cd drive down. I think my ram might be in the way too.
