Help with fan setup?

Hello, I'm putting fans into my pc and would like to know the proper setup.

My case has one 140mm fan on the top (rear) which I assume will be an exhaust.

There are spots for four 120mm fans - 2 in front, 1 in back, 1 on the side - but I only have three fans. Where should I put them?.

Hi! I have a new situation and I was hoping you were still around.

I bought a 140mm for the top, but it had the screw holes for a 120mm! So the only place it will fit is the side.

Now I have a bunch of fans: a 140mm for the top, a 140mm for the side, and three 120mm for the 2 front and 1 rear.

So, keeping in mind that the side fan is big, and that one of the 120mm is old and maybe not working as well after many years of me smoking beside it (seems to still work ok), what is the best thing to do here? Which way should the fans be blowing, should I use the 140mm side, where should I put the older fan?

Front would be in, side thats debatable. Some people say in to blow on the mobo / cpu

Altho this guy says dont put anything there

I've got 5 fans in the case here, they came with the case. 2 in the front blowing in, 2 on top blowing out 1 on the back blowing out. The case has a window so nothing on the side
