Help with feeezing/restarts. Specs included.

I keep having my brand new built PC freeze during gaming.

Sometimes it will restart itself, most of the time just freezes to whatever is on screen.

Checked out a lot of stuff. Passed memtest86. Temps never go over 68c both GPU and CPU

8700k
1080ti
16g vengeance LXP 3000
Taichi z370 mb
Samsung 960 (accidentally in RAID mode) but seems to work fine
Seasonic 750w gold
Lots of USB on her. Oculus, Hotas, etc


I feel like it’s either a RAM or PSU issue, but I shouldn’t really be close to 750w.

All drivers up to date. BIOS up to date.

Please help!

use hardware info see if the 12v rail is holding on the power supply. open your case if the pc was shipped make sure the ram and cpu and video card are locked in.

What PSU is it?

How do you have the GTX 1080Ti connected to the PSU?


Are you using 2x PCIe cables?

I have one pics cable going to the 1080ti. It’s a single that splits into 3.

That PSU has 2 PCIe cables, need to use both of them.
