Help with finding a compatible Motherboard with new 1151 CPU and DDR3 RAM

Hello,
Everyone

I recently bought an Intel i5 6600 LGA1151. I am currently using an i3 550....Yeah, I know lol.
I know enough about computers but still weary about going all out and buying a new ATX motherboard, which I need to do in order to fit the new processor.
My concerns vary a little bit here:

I'm a little confused about chipsets and can't find much helpful information, or at least none that I'm easily understanding so any advice there would be helpful. I see some people say it doesn't matter much. I don't plan on overclocking or anything too technical.

I'm also trying to keep my 4 DDR3 sticks but I'm having trouble finding a motherboard that is compatible with the LGA1151 and the DDR3s. Do these not exist or am I just not looking correctly? After buying the CPU, and soon a mobo, I would really prefer not to buy expensive DDR4s as well. But will if I must, of course.

I would prefer and have been using Newegg because I trust them.
I would greatly appreciate any advice that anyone can give me.
Thank You in advance.

There are no longer ANY LGA 1151 boards that support DDR3. There were a few that supported it early on, but they only supported DDR3L, low power memory, none that supported standard DDR3. You will not find one that does. You will need new memory for any upgrade after LGA 1150.

But are still not recommended, because they almost all exhibit problems of some kind using DDR3L memory AND a lot of those boards that are for sale used you can almost guarantee were used by people who attempted to use regular DDR3 memory on them, and a good number of them will have problems due to the damage caused by doing so. I have encountered at least ten boards, in my own personal experience, that somebody had admittedly done so with.
