Help with first ever build - Go easy, I'm new at this

I have decided it's time to seriously upgrade my equipment. I'll be using my Panasonic Viera 58" tv as the monitor. I don't play games really, but i watch movies, browse the internet, burn cd's and dvd's, etc. After reading ALOT, this is what I have planned. Give me some feedback and advice on what's good, bad, or otherwise. I'm not trying to break the bank, but I have some money to spend.


Motherboard: Gigabyte 990fx
Case:300 illusion
Graphics: Gigabyte HD 6850
CPU: AMD 1100T
Power: Corsair Enthusiast 650
DVD: Samsung 24x
Hard drive: Samsung 1TB
Memory: 8gb G.Skill X (2x4)
Sound: Asus Xonar

Soooooooo.......just how much money do you want us to spend?

i'd like to keep it between 500-700 total. I may use a crossfire set up. i wont be overclocking it. i don't really have a brand preference, as long as its good quality and fits in the budget. Basically I want to know if you would change anything, or perhaps scale back on something to go higher end for something else. Basically I want a good system that won't require me to upgrade in 12 months and will look great on my 1080p plasma.
