I am looking to build my first pc as it seems most computer companies are really slaking in recent years. My budget is around $1000, but I can budge slightly if needed. Some games I would like to be able to run are overwatch, gta, fallout, etc. Also most of the newer games coming out. I'm looking to move towards pc gaming vs xbox like I'm used to. If anyone has any parts or advice in the build process that would be great as I'm somewhat worried about messing it up and wasting so much money. My current computer is around 7 years old where I've updated simple things like hard drive and ram, but I'm sick of sinking money into an old hp.

You can save a bit, if you wait for the aftermarket GTX 1070, to come out.
