Help with fitting liquid cooler?

So im wanting to get this cooler

to cool my ryzen 3 1200

but im confused on where the fans will go?

do they mount onto a case fan slot? if so i have one spare, but it seems really thick so im wondering if im meant to mount it somewhere else in the case?

A radiator like that CAN be difficult to locate. First, YES it does go onto one of the fan mounting locations in the case. Back exhaust, top exhaust or front intake. Which location will depend on your specific build and case. Search YouTube for installation videos on that (or similar120mm radiators).
Also search YouTube for your specific case.
