For a few months I have had the blue screen of death on windows 10: 64 bit. I Remember one morning I tried to turn it on and it wouldn't boot up, despite using it the night before. Diagnostics tests determined everything was fine, but I still do not know how to fix the blue screen. At times, it crashes instantly when I turn it on, and other times I am able to access the desktop for a few minutes. I reverted back to windows 7 and it still came up and then went back to 10 again. I used a clean registry tool and it said it was fine. Numerous messages on the blue screen have appeared such as :unexpected kernel mode trap, kmode exception not handled, and driver verifier iomanager violation. I have tried many solutions and none have worked. I would greatly appreciate any help.

If none of the errors say WHEA uncorrectable error or Machine Check Exception, then reinstalling win 10 would likely fix them provided you also update all your drivers after the install as I suspect most are caused by drivers

On another PC, download the Windows 10 media creation tool and use it to make a win 10 installer on USB

change the boot order so it is USB first, hdd second

if you don't care about content s of C, then boot from installer and follow this guide: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/1950-windows-10-clean-install.html

driver verifier errors only happen if you running driver verifier... I believe.

Most common bsod are driver related, go to your motherboard or PC makers web site for the model, and make sure you have latest drivers - open device manager and confirm it before trying to install any.

can you download and run http://www.resplendence.com/whocrashed
it will give us a look at errors and may point out driver to blame

copy/paste results in here

Can you also follow option one here: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/5560-bsod-minidump-configure-create-windows-10-a.html
and then do this step below: Small memory dumps - Have Windows Create a Small Memory Dump (Minidump) on BSOD

that creates a file in c/windows/minidump
copy that file to documents
upload the copy from documents to a cloud server and share the link here and someone will help you fix it :)

Okay, will do. The only problem is that I tried turning it on a bunch of times because it keeps instantly restarting or freezing before i can access anything. Ill try turning it on in a couple of hours since it sometimes randomly works after it being off for a while.

Also, if I were to replace the hard drive would it fix my issue, assuming that it is one of the files or drivers that is causing the BSOD? I do not have anything valuable in it so I wouldn't mind replacing it
