Question Help with gamess crashing all the time

Around a week ago i got a new GPU and it played games well except that the 16gb ram was constantly being used in its entirety every time i started up a game. On fortnie it tries to load a game then freezed, on tf2 it randomly crashes in no apparent order and its not my gpu causing the shortage of ram i think. Here's my specs of my terrible pc down below

GeForce GTX 1050ti
16Gb DDR3 RAM
EVGA Bronze 80+ 500W
Gigabyte GA-7LMT-USB3
WD Blue 1TB HD
