I purchased a gaming PC a few months ago, and yesterday it randomly started playing really slow. I would average at around 200-400 FPS in league of legends on max settings, and I was at 30 or below FPS yesterday. I ran a full system virus scan, and restarted it. It is a little better today, up to around 70-150 FPS in league, but I am worried that something is wrong with my computer. It is still fast to boot up, but once it starts gaming, it is slow.

It's not the computer, but if the CPU cooler has lost efficiency, your CPU temps or core temps might be causing throttling; same with the GPU. It's all about limiting possibilities. Here are so many of them.

When a computer slows under heavy load, thermal issues are some of the first things to check for or eliminate.
