Question Help with gaming with my son

I'm just a dad trying to play games with my son. I appreciate any help,
I'm mainly a MacBook pro M1 user for my job, graphic design. My son and I play on playstation for triple A games, but can I play PC games on my M1? Is Parallels still the best way? But then I have to buy Windows too. I have a monitor, so maybe one of those $300 miniforum PCs is better?
Here are some of the games we want to play together. Nothing demanding as far as graphics go:
"Journey To The Savage Planet"
"Grounded"
"The Past Within"
Thanks for any help

I know I’ve read reviews what gaming in Parallels want terrible on M1. Probably better than whatever junk PC for $300 is.

I know my local Microcenter has a killer deal right now on a refurbished HP gaming computer for $600. It’s got a Ryzen 7 5700G, Radeon RTX 6600XT and 32GB Ram.

Maybe you could go the other route. If you don’t want to spend the money. Run emulators and introduce your son to vintage games. Stuff like Apple II, NES and Turbgrafx 16.

Thanks for the reply, his computer is phenomenal. I'm just talking about getting something decent for me. Haha he can play anything. I just don't play so much so I thought I could get something in the sub 500 bracket. I'll just wait a little longer and buy something better.
