[SOLVED] Help with getting 2933 or 3200 please!

Changed platform, and now I have Ryzen which is easy to overlock, but I bought DDR4 2666 and can't overlock it cause I dunno how to do it, friend said some timings, PC working on 2993, but game crashes. So I don't know what to do, here's screenshot of my memory.

Should have purchased 3000 or 3200 if you wanted faster modules. OC lower rated modules doesn't always work.

Well it's truth. So how'd you think, 2666 not a big difference with 2993 or even 3200?

for intel that would be somewhat true. for AMD ryzen on the other hand, they like fast ram with decent timings.
so you would see some difference between 2666 vs 2993 and much more vs 3200.
but you couldve gotten 3000mhz+ kits Crucial got some really good cheap kits that are also fun to OC along with Team Group and Kingston.

I was thinking merely about PUBG staters, just wanted to have 3200 or 3000, would be better maybe, but it's working really well after FX6300, 130 fps, so cool. Just was wondering if someone know how to even stabilize it on 2993 which is normal for CPU, so I thought it's easy, but meh

Download Thyphoon Burner and Ryzen Dram-calculator. There are serveral tutorials on these tools on youtube.
Test your kit with typhoon, export the data to dram calculator and see what manual timings it spits out for 3200 Mhz. Then try those in bios. Be aware that some bios use hexadecimal numbers for timings.

Ram overclocking is fun but a little more complicated then cpu or gpu. Make sure you know how to clear cmos if you screw up your overclock too bad.

Edit: Never ever use Ryzen Master for RAM overclocking. It uses funny timings and is evil.

Yeah I did everything perfectly as there, not working fine, AIDA test says it's error, and PUBG crashes.

3200 with calculator too, not even starting

on Calculator it was 1.2250 or 1.250, I tried and 1.350, nothing ;^(

P. S. on reviews to this memory people says it's easy to 3200 or 3000 with even cheap mobo

3200 doesnt worked, I can't even do 2993, will google, thanks

Problem was A1 and B1 slots, for overlocking RAM I needed A2 and B2, topic closed.

ALSO thanks everyone for some good info, someone will find it useful I presume.
