So i plan on upgrading my gpu since my grandparents tought i need new monitor for some reason(like i dont even get how they tought of that.....)so now i got 24 inch 1080p screen sitting in my room but my curent gpu cant handle the games on this resolution(i have 1366*768 atm and i was happy with it xD) so i was thinking of buying radeon r9 270x but i am not sure if my psu can handle it?

My current pc has:
Gpu:Radeon 7770
Cpu:I5 4460
Cpu cooler:stock
Mobo:Gigabyte H97-D3H
Ram:2*4gb kingston fury
Case:Fractal design arc midi r2
Psu:Zalman ZM500-GS

As you can probably notice by cpu it is a budget gaming build and gtx 760 is to exspensive in Croatia and if i need new psu i am super tight with money even with r9 270x ;(

The psu is enough yes. The other graphic card is the same gpu just from a different manufacturer, and probably is higher clocked or lowered. Choose what you like really :)

I'm sorry to inform you that you need a new psu for the card, i'd say a better 550-600W psu would be more than enough. Your psu may with a tiny chance run it but it will be on the line and it may fail miserably.
