Help with GPU Please!!

I just got a 7950 as im currently using a 6850. installed new gpu and get no display, the cpu doesn't even turn on. so i hooked my speaker up to mobo and get one short beep just like i do with the older card that the computer boots on. The gpu gets warm and the fans spin but computer just wont fully boot and no display. I've removed old drivers tried hdmi instead of dvi. I've done everything i could think of, any suggestions

What is your power supply? It might not be providing enough power to the card

evga 600watts 80+

That PSU should be fine. The GPU is probably just broken
