Okay, so I recently replaced my cooling system (with the help of some on this site) and got it working with my GPU all good to go late last week.
Even played a few hours with a friend on Tuesday night and all worked fine, temps never went above 72C.
So last night I boot up my computer, put in my password and log in, and while it’s loading I go to charge my cell phone from the surge protector beneath my desk. In the process I drop the surge protector maybe 6 inches and suddenly lose video on my monitor.
I let it chill, but it doesn’t come back.
I restart, and notice the GPU (3070) is blinking RGB instead of just constant RGB.
So I Google and some people say it’s a power supply issue.
But I’ve had this build for a year and a half with no issues. New cooling system is probably less intense than the last and worked fine for several hours a few nights ago. Think I even left the computer on all night that night.
So I checked and the power cords going into the GPU aren’t loose.
The GPU itself I found one screw connecting the thing holding the 3070 up wasn’t done right but I turned it off, re-did the whole thing and reconnected.
Issue still happens.
What can I do?
