Help with Graphics Card choice for new build, some games.

I just built my 1st PC in about 15 years. I have been out of touch with the tech world for a while but trying to get back into it and need some help. i also would like to get into gaming a little bit.
Currently i play CITIES SKYLINES and would like to play that as well as PLANET COASTER on my new build if possible.
new build : i3- 6100 , 8 GB RAM, 250 GB SSD, using integrated graphics for now .
would like to get a graphics card that would make the above games playable, if possible.

i would appreciate any and all comments or advice.

It depends on your budget and psu. The i3 is strong enough to run a GTX1060 pretty good and would even be decent with a GTX1070 if you want to spend that much.

Geez that Asus Stix 1060 is $309!!! No way I would pay that much. You can get a EVAG SC Gaming for $259 or Gigabyte Windforce OC for $265

Asus Strix RX 480 8GB . Whether or not you go with the RX 480( Which i recommend you do) or the GTX 1060, the Asus Strix has a butt load of features and packs excellent quality in their cards. I wouldn't go with anything else. It may cost a bit more but I think it's worth it . I can say with personal experience i loved the GPU. It did have some coil whine but that was probably my RaidMAx Power Supply haha.
