So I had just recently swapped my 1050 with a 1050ti and everything runs completely fine but one thing kind of bugs me.

Went to look at dxdiag and it says my video card only has 540mb of available VRAM but the video card is supposed to have 4GB of VRAM.

Games like Skyrim run fine actually since I managed to run the game on High Settings with solid 50-60 fps.

Is there anything that I need to do like reinstalling the drivers? Or anything else for the matter?

Yep you need to be running 64bit.

... not really a worth while upgrade, should have gone with a rx 470/570

or you can use this:

A friend offered to me give me the card since he was upgrading to a 1080ti and it was offer I couldn't refuse.

The 470 was viable option for me but I realised that I don't have a connector to run the thing.

Hello... That doesn't look right at all B / your total should say 4096 MB or more and there should be dedicated and shard values too... mine are 2048/2048 MB... for GTX 760 2GB card.

1) do you have your control panel-device manager-NVidia App set for "Performance"?
2) Is this screen shot during a game?
3) Is this a screen shot from the desktop idle?
