Help with hdd!

I dropped my hard drive maybe only two feet and it wasn't plugged in but I'm not sure if it broke I looked inside it and nothing was broken off

Connect it to pc and see, if it works.
If not and you want your data back, then contact professional data recovery services.
It will cost you significantly though.

I unscrewed the cover there was a very small rattle when shacking it but there wasn't a broken piece and it didn't seem like it broke is that normal? If not I can return it with full refund to amazon
