Question Help with headphones and speakers

Realtek recognizes my headphones as speakers so I have to unplug them to be able to use the speakers (they are being recognized as speakers too). Speakers are at the back jack and headphones at the front.

no.. you can click on the volume icon in the lower right corner and select what you want. but anyway i use a dac that does the same thing. you can plug in powered speakers and headphones, but phones take preference to speakers, you have to unplug the cans to get the speakers to work.

it's working as designed

it's working as designed
what im telling you is that windows recognizes them as 1 device, when i select speakers it plays from the headphones until i unplug them. its the only device being recognized
