Help with identifying a game?

ok, i remember a few years ago seeing a game advert that involved a roman/gladiator fighting around some ruins, the only this i can remember for definite is that the roman/gladiator picked up a human arm and used it as a weapon (sounds a bit grim). All i can remember is seeing this when i was younger and thinking it looked awesome.

Sounds slightly familiar do you know what genre it was?

If fighting genre maybe some kind of Deadliest Warriors type game..
