Ryzen 7 1700 3ghz base
Gtx 1650
Deepcool ak400
8x2 2666mhz ram
A320MH 6.0 BIOSTAR
ak700W bronze 80 psu

So whenever I try to manually overclock my CPU via bios even by like 3.3/3.4, When I save it and load into windows, a few seconds or when startup apps start to load my windows immediately turns into a uncontrollable blackscreen flickers. any suggestions please?

I've also noticed I'm unable to use the Ryzen Master software and in task manager the changes do not show
(I can use windows for a few seconds and checked it at that time.) but on bios it does.
My CPU temp at idle is only around 42-43C

Stop overclocking. 3.3/3.4 is nothing that CPU has a max boost to 3.7 (1 core) and a 3.2 on all cores.
I was trying to overclock it by a littlle bit just as a start but somehow it still causes issues.
My reason for overclocking is I'm getting a 240hz monitor in about a week or so and really need a slight fps boost just enough to reach 240 (I'm getting around 160-190 fps on a few games at the moment)

When OCing you also have to give him higher voltage and and allow for more power.

How are you overclocking the CPU on an A320 motherboard? They're not supposed to be able to do that.

You may be overclocking memory instead. First gen Ryzen's memory controller was very, very finicky about overclocking memory. It usually needed a lot of tweaking of timings and voltage to get it to work even with later AGESA/BIOS updates.

It's better not to really overclock, A320 chipset sucks, and is the definition of "total utter shit". For AM4 overclocking always choose the X370, X470, or the newest and best X570 chipset for AM4. For B550 a good model is the ASRocK B550 EXTREME4.

Just a heads up, you should try overclocking higher but I doubt that you will reach any higher clocks since the chipset is mediocre and the memory controller on 1st gen Ryzen was very flaky, so be aware of that. And you have to give more voltage to the CPU, I suggest going 1 increment every single time, that's what I do to my old CPU. And for overclocking, the memory, CPU and Motherboard are the most important part.
