Help with improper shut down

Hello,

LAst night my computer was updated and now Windows will not load. I get the screen that says " We apologize fro the in convenience but windows did not start successfully. ... No matter which selection I choose Safe MOde swafe MOde with Command Promp ETC it always goes back to We apologise again. Dell wants 125 to advise me..any suggestions?
 
Solution
If you have nothing on the hdd that you can afford to lose, use the Dell Recovery DVD or press Fx on startup to reinstall from the recovery partition.

Too repeat, you will lose everything if you do a recovery, but it will put the pc back to the configuration that came out of the box fresh from Dell.
