Help with Lanparty DK P45-T2RS PLUS

Hi

How much of system memory does LANPARTY DK P45-T2RS PLUS support?

The vast majority of websites (including newegg) claim it's 8Gb, but some (including DFI) claim it's 16. What is the truth? How come such confusion is possible in the first place?
