Help with led stripes

HI,
recently I bought 2 led strips of 25 cm each connected via molex but I am a bit disappointed, when the computer turn on they have a high brightness but a second later it decreases, should I leave 1 cable of the PSU only for the led strips?

What do the LED strips' installation instructions say?

Is there a controller for the LEDs'? Is it installed and configured?

Found the following older link from within this forum. The information therein should be helpful - appears to be the same motherboard.

it does not have instructions, nor controller nor the option of configuration, it is simply the LED strip, the cables and the molex connector that goes directly to the psu, not to the motherboard

the seller tried it before selling it and it had a high brightness like the initial brightness when I start up my pc

Ask the seller how his system was set up and configured for the LED strips.

And ask about the details of his system. Hardware, software, application being use (if any).

The initial brightness may just be much like a light bulb when first turned on. Bright and then dims.

Your system may be okay and working correctly.

He may have done something to make the LED's appear brighter - at the eventual risk of damage to his system.

Sellers do all sorts of things to enhance the appearance and performance of products.....
