I have a budget of $300 or lower. I mainly will use it for games like League of Legends, Hearthstone, DayZ, and various others that come out.

I also do a fair amount of reddit/forum reading/small video watching on my computer as well.

My impressions are that TN screens have terrible color (based on what IPS people say). So I am thinking of going a IPS.

I would love to have the ability to adjust the height on it. Thanks.

Funny that you say that. I was deciding between that model and the ASUS PA248Q this past weekend, but wanted some advice from the land of tomshardware.

The difference in price is about $100, is that extra resolution work that much money...hmm.

There is also this one...

lots of confusion on my end, sorry!

It won't open that link on my end..but if that is the case then it seems like the Dell UltraSharp U2412M, for 229 is a heck of a deal. Only thing it is missing is an hdmi, which isn't bad.

Yeah, the U2412M should be a good choice. I saw some reviews at Newegg saying the DisplayPort on it failed for them, but if you use the DVI input instead (with an HDMI to DVI adapter if you need one), you shouldn't have to worry about that.

I don't know why the link doesn't work for you, though.
