Hello, recently i got a new pc so i torn apart the old one, only to replace paste, clean dust and other stuff, but when i try to boot that pc, it turns on but there is no display, I touch the start button, nothing happens for 0.5 seconds and then it turns on, all fans spin etc. but there is no display at all.I made sure its the pc's problem since the monitor is up and running with my dvi to vga adapter and an r9 280 dual x. So what is the problem gents? cpu dead, gpu faulty, mobo issues?....

Help is greatly apreciated, Thanks

Yes it has VGA (mah monitor is vga native) but i just dont know if i should try it, should i connect it to the motherboard, remove the gpu?

Yes, this is how to troubleshoot it.

Worked, BUT the CPU fan sounds like if its going to explode, I'm not talking about normal noise, I'm talking about a fan that spins at 100% type of sound
