help with monitor

okay so i need help with a monitor. i have a asus vh238 and i really like it and was planning on getting another one when i build my pc. even though it is 4 years old it has really good specs ( 2ms response time, 1080p. so what are youre guys opinions with buying a 4 year old monitor or buying a newer one with the same specs.

I've got a 247 and its fine. I'd only replace it if it stopped working or if I decided to buy a 27in 1440p - which costs too much at the moment. I'd say stick with what you've got.
