[SOLVED] Help with motherboard compatibility

So I just bought a Gigabyte GA-970a-UD3P rev2 version. My issue is that I have a FX-8320 CPU and I have read that I may need to preform a BIOS update to use this? Please help I do not understand what I need to do, should I download a bios update onto a USB stick prior to installing the new motherboard?

Hi. I just checked your motherboard official website and the BIOS version needed is FA which the board already has. It's the first BIOS version on the motherboard so you should not be having any issues.
