Help with Mouse Acceleration

Started playing PUBG. I’ve turned “enhanced pointer precision” in windows 10 in order to help my aim.

There was a noticeable difference straight away when using my desktop.

Is the idea behind doing this, I become used to mouse movements whilst using my desktop and just general computing and therefore build muscle memory which I can then use in game or will this have no benefit in game at all.

Does PUBG aiming change once if disabled “enchanted pointer precision”?

Any help would be great. Hope I’ve been able to explain myself.

Thanks in advance

Enhanced pointer precision is personal preference, but is mostly used at super low sensitivities. Normally it would be very difficult to do a complete 180 or 360 with low sensitivity as you have to move your mouse a very long distance. But with mouse acceleration you get the benefit of precision accuracy with low sensitivity and still have the ability to turn completely around for instance if there is an enemy player behind you.

I personally do not like using mouse acceleration as I feel it messes up my precision, but there are a few of the best CS:GO players who use acceleration, so its all personal preference. Just stick with one and get used to it, that's the most important thing with FPS games.

I'm not entirely sure if the setting changes your experience in game but I'm sure it does.

Your other option could just be to lower your overall sensitivity with mouse acceleration off. For instance I have to move my mouse 18 inches all the way across my mouse pad for my character to do a complete 360 in all my games, that's how I make sure my sensitivity is the same across all games.
