Hi guys. I need help.

Several months ago I bought the graphic card 1070 G1 Gaming, but I've realized that you can't use more than 3gb in the configuration of the games (for example GTA V) because it drop a lot of perfomance. I can't use even 50% of the memory graphic card.

For WTF did I replace the 970?Did I spend € 500 for this S..t ? I feel very indignant.

My Specs:

- CPU: I7 6800K
- Motherboard: x99 Deluxe II
- Ram: 2x8 (16gb) Corsair Vengeance 3200mhz
- Power S: Corsair TX 850W
- HD: Samsung 850 EVO / Seagate SSHD

Thanks for advance

Thanks also to this website for censoring my way of expressing myself. Do not worry, I will not publish anymore.

I'm confused. So you are getting performance drops when utilizing more than 3 Gb VRAM? That is pretty much the opposite of what should happen. Games pull what VRAM they need based on the settings, and there is usually only an issue if you don't have enough.

Are your temps okay?

Exactly. I have fps drops when passing 3g. with 4GB or more is impossible, unplayable.

The temps for now are stables. Gpu stays around 50 / 55Cº when playing.

I'm no expert and it's an odd problem, but will throw out some thoughts. Make sure power cables connected to card? It's in your top slot? Maybe get Afterburner and allow for extra headroom? Driver reinstall?

May as well cover the basics until a top rated forum user comes along.
