Hello,
This is my first post, so I hope it is comform to the forum rules.
I'm going to build my first desktop in about a month (I'm saving up for the parts).
Of course, I wouldn't want to build something that has a huge bottleneck somewhere or worse, doesn't work.
The aim of the build would be:
a) Gaming on a 1440p, 144Hz monitor. (games like civ VI and guild wars 2)
b) playing around a bit with deep learning
My budget is somewhere around 1.000 euro, not including the monitor, keyboard, ...
I was thinking about the folowing parts:
GPU: GeForce® GTX 1080 G1 Gaming 8G (fixed, paid 375 for it, so rest of the build has around 650 left)
CPU: Core i5 8400
MoBo: Gigabyte H310M H
Storage: Seagate Barracuda st1000dm010
RAM: G skill aegis - 8Gb (as far as I heard, the difference between 8 and 16 is still pretty small?)
Case: Antec dark fleet series DF500
Power supply: still not sure? What would be a good power supply?
Fans: 4 x Arctic bionix F140
What would you guys add or change (taking in account the budget)
Thanks a lot for the advice
