im planning to build a gaming pc that will use an amd fx6300 processor, i live in the philippines and the prices here for parts are quite expensive and some components that i see here at tom's are not even available in the philippines. my budget is around P35000 or roughly $750. can you guys suggest a good gaming build and hopefully the parts are available here. i would love to try out bf4 but right now im into playing diablo3, LoL, nba2k14, ac3, darksiders, prototype, dmc, starcraft 2 and dragon nest. im not into ocing and doing sli or crossfire but would love to play w/ atleast mid to high settings. thanks in advance!

wow! it would be nice to get an advice from a fellow filipino like you! gilmore would be my choice for the parts and easypc in front of sm north edsa. i bought my first pc at pc gilmore w/c includes all the parts that i picked. looked at pcx but i think the prices there are more expensive.

yes, i've visited that website and their prices are good as well. thanks for the help.

With that budget, you can get a better processor than an fx-6300. Try this (mixed with PCGilmore and Dynaquest)

CPU Cooler

All in all that's at Php 38,450. What do you think?

i would love to get an intel for my cpu however i've decided not to go with intel, the rest of the parts are ok. for the mobo im looking at getting an asrock or asus. for the graphics card, would a gtx 600 series be better?

Sorry for the really late reply, been busy but I'm back :)

Anyways, to me, both the Radeon HD 7000 series and GTX 600 series seems on par with each other (it also depends which gtx 6xx you compare to which hd 7xxx) The R9 270x is also good for the price range (simply the hd 7870 made better under a new name) Check this link if you wish to compare gpu benchmarks http://www.anandtech.com/bench/GPU13/583
There must be some reason why you'd pick AMD over intel, but I wouldn't argue with that. If you will change your processor, you'd have to change the mobo as well, and since you like either ASRock or Asus, here are some updates to the parts

GPU

(a bit cheaper than the 7870 and will perform somewhat the same as the gtx 600 series. But will depend on what resolution you'll be playing in (1080p? 900p? 768p?) and what settings you use. But since you said mid to high settings, this should be good)

Really sorry for all those Dynaquest links. Both PC Gilmore and Easy PC seem to lack a lot of parts. Anyways, All that adds up to a total of Php 34,250. A huge decrease of price btw, so this is a really good deal for below 35k pesos. It should run Diablo3, LoL, NBA 2k14, Darksiders, Prototype, Devil May Cry, Starcraft 2 etc. with ease. Also, will you be needing an operating system/monitor/keyboard and mouse?
